Born and raised in Perugia, Italy, Alex developed an early passion for cinema that naturally evolved into photography. He later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in photography from Santa Monica College in Los Angeles.

Over the years, he has worked across fashion, catalog, and commercial photography, developing a versatile visual language while refining his artistic voice.

Alex’s personal work focuses on capturing fragments of human life within the urban landscape. Through still images, he seeks to translate movement and reveal the fleeting essence of the city—its rhythm, its energy, and its daily rituals. His photographs explore the tension between control and spontaneity, often embracing the unexpected to uncover authentic moments.

His portrait work, including subjects from the world of cinema, aims to capture what escapes conscious control—intensifying expression and revealing a more instinctive, unguarded presence.

Through the use of shadow, contrast, and line—often in black and white—his images exist on the threshold between reality and abstraction. Each photograph becomes a gesture: a balance between structure and chance, where imperfection and unpredictability are essential elements of the creative process.

His work ultimately seeks to immortalize fleeting moments of joy, movement, and human connection, giving form to what would otherwise disappear.
